AGREEMENT
This contract is agreed upon between Blimey Bulldogges (Seller) and the Buyer signing this contract. This contract is NOT transferable if the puppy is resold or gifted. The term 'puppy' refers to the dog being purchased throughout it’s entire life.
All deposits are NON- REFUNDABLE, (see exceptions below).
Choice of puppy is on a 'first come (deposit received) - first pick' basis.
This contract must be filled out, signed and deposit paid, and received by Seller for this contract to be binding and puppy choice guaranteed.
Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel the sale anytime before transfer of ownership, for any reason. Buyer will be refunded full deposit if this occurs.
Buyer agrees, the kennel name 'Blimey Bulldogges' to be used as a prefix in the registered name of the puppy, and will not represent the puppy as Buyer's own breeding. Seller will provide Buyer with litter registration papers necessary for Buyer to register puppy.
TREATMENT
Buyer agrees the puppy will never be abused, neglected, and will be always be provided with proper shelter, food, water, and current veterinarian check ups and shots. If puppy ever shows signs of neglect or abuse, ownership will immediately return to Seller with no return of funds. Any costs incurred in returning dog to seller will be responsibility of Buyer.
Buyer agrees to never allow puppy to engage in fighting or illegal activities.
MEDICAL AGREEMENT
We guarantee that our Sires/Dams to be the highest quality of purebred Olde English Bulldogges, and will only be bred if they are found to be in complete health. We ask that our buyers understand that we cannot guarantee the health of previous generations.
We guarantee the puppy to be free of any congenital defects causing death or serious impairment resulting in the puppy being euthanized, up to 6 months of age. Such a defect must documented by two licensed veterinarians (from different clinics) and presented to Seller by 7 months of age. Buyer will be entitled to a replacement puppy from that litter (or next available litter if none are available). If puppy is altered in any form, Buyer loses right of this guarantee. Seller is not responsible for vet expenses, illness, defects, or conditions caused by buyer’s neglect, abuse, breeding, improper nutrition, participation in competition, mishandling or any injuries to puppy caused by those conditions.
Puppy will have had it’s first set of shots, deworming and heath check by licensed veterinarian prior to transfer of ownership. Puppy will only be sold if it is found to be in good health. Upon transference of ownership, the Buyer has 72 hrs to have puppy examined by licensed veterinarian, and report any claims for exchange of puppy (for healthy puppy from same or next available litter) due to medical condition. No replacement will be given for Parvo, Corona, Distemper, Coccidia or Kennel Cough.
BREEDING
Our dogs are of the highest quality and standard of Olde English Bulldogges. To ensure continuance of this standard, the buyer agrees that puppy will only be breed according to breeding standards set forth by IOEBA, and only with another registered Olde English Bulldogge of the same quality. If a puppy is not to be breed by buyer, it is buyer's responsibility to have puppy sterilized to ensure that the puppy is not accidently breed with another breed.
If puppy is pet quality (not for breeding), Buyer agrees to have puppy sterilized by no older than 4 months of age. Upon seller receiving proof of sterilization, Seller will release registration papers to Buyer along with any funds that may have been withheld. Seller reserves the right to reclaim puppy if proof of sterilization is not provided to Seller by 7 months of age. Buyer will be responsible for any costs incurred by reclaiming puppy. Seller will not return any funds.
TRANSFER
The puppy will be available for pick-up at 7 weeks of age (air shipment at 8 weeks), and must be picked up by 9 weeks of age. The Buyer is encouraged to pick puppy up from Seller’s location. If the Buyer chooses to ship the puppy, the Buyer is responsible for all charges incurred by shipping; including (but no limited to) flight, mileage to airport, veterinarian shipping certificate, airport fees, insurance, crate, and shipping fees. This applies to ALL puppies transported (including a replacement puppy). All costs and arrangements must be made by Buyer prior to shipment of puppy. Buyer may request Seller to transport (by car) puppy to requested location. The choice to do so is solely up to the discretion of Seller, and the Buyer agrees to pay Seller $0.48 per mile driven. There are also companies that will transport (via ground) your puppy for a fee.
PAYMENT
A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required with submittal of this contract. The puppy must be paid for in full by 6 weeks of age. If payment is not made by this time, Buyer will be contacted by Seller and given 72 hrs to get full payment to Seller. If payment is not received by this time, Seller forfeits puppy and all monies paid.
Payment must be made by money order, cashier’s check or cash (please do not mail cash).
If ownership is not transferred by 9 weeks, a $50 per week boarding fee and any other expenses incurred (including veterinarian shots/visits) will be charged. Transfer of ownership will not occur until ALL costs are paid in full. If transfer of ownership has not occurred by 12 weeks of age, Buyer forfeits all rights and monies paid.
